上艮为山,下巽为风。风往山上吹,果实凋零,开始衰败的景象。另一个意象是上艮为止,下巽为从,上不行下屈从即生腐败;好在中国人从来都不是悲观处世,蛊卦原文为:“蛊,元亨,利涉大川。先甲三日,后甲三日”。遇到麻烦反而能亨通,前提是要积极行动。甲是指天干之始。先甲三日是指在事先要有预见,要有革新精神,从而能把麻烦扼杀在萌芽状态。后甲三日是指如果麻烦已经出现,不要退缩,积极行动采取措施。如此方能转蛊害为天下之利;

Be ture to yourselfA little bit strange, below sentense sent from a colleague to me this morning in BCC mode, not sure it's just a common sharing or indicates some particular matters.
"Be true to yourself", Interpretation:
Do not compromise yourself or your beliefs in order to please others. Know who you are and let other people know what you stand for. Do not give in to pressure to conform or to do things you do not agree with. Keep in mind that you should always do the right thing.
Googled "be ture to yourself" then, found article below: http://www.essentiallifeskills.net/index.html
Be True To Yourself
To be true to yourself means to act in accordance with who you are and what you believe. If you know and love yourself you will find it effortless to be true to yourself. Just as you cannot love anyone else until you love yourself, you cannot be true to anyone else until you are true to yourself. Be who you are. Do not take action or pretend to be someone else for the sake of gaining acceptance. Many young people believe that when they do things to please their peers, such as drink when they shouldn't, or behave and party in inappropriate ways, they will be popular and liked. They go against the advice of their parents or their own common sense only to find themselves in trouble and not accomplishing what they set out to do. When you do things that are not genuine or a reflection of the real you, you will not be happy with yourself and will end up confused. You'll be confused because you won't know whom to please, or how. Self-respect comes from being true to who you really are and from acting in accordance with your fundamental nature. When you respect yourself, others will respect you. They will sense that you are strong and capable of standing up for yourself and your beliefs. When you are true to yourself, you allow your individuality and uniqueness to shine through. You respect the opinions of others but do not conform to stereotypes or their expectations of you. To be true to yourself takes courage. It requires you to be introspective, sincere, open-minded and fair. Being true to yourself does not mean that you are inconsiderate or disrespectful of others. It means that you will not let others define you or make decisions for you that you should make for yourself. I do think it's only workable for personal life rather than for working environment because the core of management is Check and Balance, not only the one side of a coin. |
